It’s a tetrapeptide a compound consisting of four amino acids and was originally discovered by Russian researcher Vladimir Khavinson during the 1980s. How It Works

DNA, or deoxyribonucleic acid, is a double-stranded molecule of our genetic material. It’s found in the nucleus of every cell and makes a copy of itself during cell divisions.
Each DNA molecule comprises chromosomes with important genetic information. Telomeres, which are repetitive nucleotide bases and act as caps to protect the chromosomes, are found at chromosome ends. They protect DNA and prevent the loss of important information in dividing cells.

The enzyme telomerase helps rejuvenate these telomeres. When functioning and activated as it should be, telomerase helps preserve telomere length, which promotes overall cell health and stability.
As we age, the body naturally produces less telomerase. This shortens the telomeres, which speeds up the aging process and contributes to age-related diseases.

Epithalon is a peptide believed to stimulate the pineal gland to produce telomerase. By causing the body to produce more of this enzyme, it may be able to maintain or even restore telomere length, keeping cells healthier for longer even after repeated division cycles.

Additionally, Epithalon has been linked to increased melatonin production and better regulation of its release. Melatonin is the hormone in charge of regulating the sleep-wake cycle of the body; this could mean better circadian rhythm and sleep quality.

Other research suggests Epithalon impacts melatonin levels of gonadotropins reproductive hormones although more research is needed in specific cases to fully comprehend this effect.
